Always, Sometimes, Never

I did a post using this format a while back, and thought it'd be fun to do it again!

I always...
  • pay attention to how people treat the waitstaff at a restaurant. I worked as a waitress for 3.5 years in college so am very sensitive how people treat waiters/waitresses.
  • wear my seat belt. Even if I am only driving a block - it is such a subconscious habit!
  • fill out the memo line on my checks. But I don't get copies of my checks and never pull them up online, so this is such a useless habit (unless I am referencing an account number). Not that I write out many checks these days...
I sometimes...
  • fantasize about being a librarian. It's not even an option given the amount of student loan debt from obtaining my MBA, but it's a nice thought. I already totally have the wardrobe!
  • wish I could work in a sound-proof booth. People can get on my nerves really quickly, especially when I'm stressed out or working on something difficult.
  • wonder if I will ever have the opportunity to have my own children.
I never...
  • paint my own toe nails. If I do, it looks like a 5 year old did it!
  • wear short sleeved shirts to work - even in the summer. I always seem to freeze at work, regardless of the season.
  • end a phone call with my parents without saying, "I love you."
Your turn! Fill in "I always... Sometimes... Never..." in your comment or do this on your blog!

Oh goodness I wear more cardigans at work in summer than I do in winter, it's FREEZING!! I would sometimes love to have the chance to go into a soundproof booth, too. Mostly for sleeping, but sometimes at work :)

I agree with all of your "always" items! Especially in observing how people treat waiters!! I think someone who's rude to a waiter has very little use in my life.

As for having little ones of your own, there is plenty of time for that. No worries!!!

I think about being a librarian too! I would love to be a children's librarian... whenever I tell people they are so surprised and I don't understand why!

This is all sorts of fun! Right now I am hopeing beyond hope I get a TA position so I can get my MLS degree. And I agree, I always pay attention to how people treat the wait staff as well.

I always read three of my favorite blogs before I open Outlook each morning when I get to work.

I sometimes wonder if marriage is dead. And then I slap myself on the wrist for being cynical.

I never get up the first time my alarm clock goes off. Ever.

Great post idea!

I always hit my snooze once (at least!) every morning. I'm not a morning person at all! I also like you, end a phone conversation with my parents with I love you.

I sometimes wish I could be a carefree kid or high school kid again. I love having a job, car, money, etc but it would be nice to have the only thing to worry about be what party you are going to that weekend.

I never have coffee in the morning. Or anytime. Just can't do it!

Hope you have a great day!

My sister always said she was going to be a librarian when she grew up. I mean, she was positive this was her calling when she was seven. Then she got her masters in library science and now she's a librarian for a university! Living the dream!

Always: Put the emergency break when I park. Even if its just in my garage. I have no idea why, just habit. I get made fun of for it a lot.

Sometime: Go to the gym in the morning, in my gym clothes, and hten just shower and go to work early. I can't always get myself to the machine.

Never: Eat mint. Or strawberries. Yuck.

I love your list. Okay, let's see...

I always snog my husband before leaving the house.

I sometimes procrastinate a bit too much.

I never eat mustard. Gross.

I also always pay attention to how people treat the waitstaff!! And I always, always, ALWAYS wear my seatbelt!!

I've recently gotten a lot better at painting my own toenails - cu-tips help a lot ;)

First of all, I notice that I've been posting just after Amber on your blog for the past few days! Odd coincidence!

Secondly, I'm totally going to do this post on my blog this week. Thanks for the inspiration.

Third - one of the many reasons why I fell in love with "the boy" has to do with the way he treats wait staff (and people in general) when we're out together. It speaks so much about someone's character.

That is really funny about you writing on the Memo line on checks. Isn't it funny that I didn't know what it was used for until I was a teller at WF?! Kinda sad! I guess I never really looked at it/thought about it!

We must have both missed "lessons on painting toenails" in our childhood. I can't paint my nails either. It's bad.

I totally agree about a sound proof work area! I have seriously considered shelling out a couple hundred for those noise canceling headphones multiple times....

I am always freezing at work too! I wear layers so that I can take them off when I get outside and not sweat myself to death! Great post!

I always wear my seatbelt too. Even when I just need to back my car down the driveway to move it out of the way. But I guess there are worse habits to have

I know what you mean about painting your own toenails. When I do it I sometimes leave a mess. Thank goodness for nail polish remover!
