Looking Forward

Time for another "Looking Forward" post!

Today I have a girls night at a pottery painting place! One of my best friends here in Minneapolis is expecting in December so we will be painting pieces for the baby's room. We did this a couple of years ago when another friend was expecting and had so much fun, I decided to re-create that event. As many of you know, I am not crafty/creative, so I am more so there for the conversation.

This week I am going shopping with that same best friend that is expecting. There are very few people that I enjoy shopping with - but B is one of them! She's going to help me pick out some fall boots and some new jeans! I'm really looking forward to our shopping excursion as I know it will be tougher to do things like this once the baby arrives... Although I am more than happy to trade in a shopping excursion for cuddle time with my faux nephew...

This month I will meet Amber and Lauren!! The marathon is less than a month away - which is a bit hard for me to wrap my mind around!! I'll be sharing my travel plans with you next week - Amber and I will be road tripping it from Vancouver to Portland! Can't wait!

This year I will travel to Arizona in January to see my sister and her husband - and to meet my faux niece. My 2 best friends are actually both due in December - only one day apart! So I will travel to Arizona in January to meet the little lady. I don't have any nieces so I am looking forward to having an excuse to shop for something pink for a change. :)

What are you looking forward to these days?

Pottery painting is so much fun! What a great idea.

Fall shopping is my favourite! There's something about sweaters, scarves, jeans and boots that make me feel really happy.

I'm looking forward to my mom's visit tonight and my work trip to Texas. Even though it's for work, I'm going with some fun people and I think it's going to be a good time. And, I've never been to Texas!

This reminded me that I need to get on the fall boot shopping trip soon too! I have coupons to DSW which are just begging to be used =)

How fun that you are going to Arizona in January; will be the perfect time to get away from dreary winter weather too!

I always love these posts! So fun looking forward! Jeans and boots shopping with your friend will be lots of fun. I need to save up to buy some staple fall pieces. This morn I looked in my closet and was just like "WHAT THE F AM I GOING TO WEAR?" I hate that. I buy a lot of pieces, but not always things that will go with other things in my closet.

I love those pottery painting places. Allows you to be crafty without making a disaster of something. ;)

So very jealous of you and Amber's travel plans, I want to meet you guys! and the road trip sounds fun. You have a lot of great stuff coming up. I would say I can't wait for my friends to start having babies but I said that about weddings and it came on with a bang so I think I am just going to continue to enjoy wedding time for now, babies will come haha
