It was almost a mini challenge to me ..."Let's see where I can use a semi-colon."

That is horrible about your trip back. And scary about that guy taking pictures. What did you do? That is horrible!

And the guy puking? Helll no! I seroiusly would lose it. I hate being around intoxicated people for that reason. I don't care how many vomiters I see in my nursing career -- my heart will always race, and I was always get grossed out by puking.Abbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06854266979976413979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1131924142966006519.post-73470772162640079982012-07-13T20:25:38.776-05:002012-07-13T20:25:38.776-05:00I can completely identify with number 2. But I feel like I never figured out have to talk without going over the top. I start getting lost and quiet when groups are 4+. 6-8 is actually a VERY big group for me.

I would probably never do a huge blogger meet-up but I am contemplating Bloggers in Sin City next year, only because I think it would be a good experience for me, plus there is a group of us that wants to go that is scared we'll have no one to talk to... so we'll all have each other! Haha. But I'm still worried about my tendency to completely shut down in social settings so I'm wavering. But I also don't want to NOT go just because I'm shy! So, yeah. I think once the group reaches 5, I pretty much butt out. Like she said, I don't want to interrupt or feel like I think that what I am saying is more important than what others are saying! I work with a bunch of people who are the opposite; they will interrupt to talk about themselves (and how cool they are) and it drives me nuts!

I am glad you had fun (except for the puking situation) and are back safe and sound!Kyria @ Travel Spothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05889638304509763419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1131924142966006519.post-53800606826033611842012-07-13T08:39:14.751-05:002012-07-13T08:39:14.751-05:00At least you already know you're not going to ...At least you already know you're not going to enjoy the last day of vacation. Not good! When we got off the train the other day, we were warned not to take rides from the guys standing outside pretending to be cabs and only get into a car that is clearly a cab. I started freaking out that you had gotten into the cab with one of the sketchy guys. Eric was like, number one you were JUST talking to Lisa on the train and she is clearly fine. He also said you were too smart to do that but I swear if they didn't warn us I would've thought they were just cab drivers out of their cabs! Apparently I can no longer be trusted to travel alone.

Anyway, I agree fully about huge groups. In particular big groups of people I don't know well I am not good at. I will also probably not ever do a big blog meet up... also because I feel like most of the people I talk to also wouldn't do one so no one I really want to see would be there haha. I'm a big fan of the 3 or 4 group size. I've started to like 3 better than 2 recently because I feel like it gives everyone kind of a break from the conversation. I'm not the best at silence unless I feel really comfortable with someone so if no one is talking I feel like I need to say something haha. Oh, social awkwardness.Kelly (She Wears a Red Sox Cap)https://www.blogger.com/profile/04415604174106394910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1131924142966006519.post-37674272553256986592012-07-13T08:02:39.441-05:002012-07-13T08:02:39.441-05:00I'm like you in a groups. I hate butting in and hate feeling like I interrupted people.

That sucks about the bad luck on the end of trips, and also so weird! I would dread that. Hopefully that was just random and your next trip won't end so randomly!Amber @ A Little Pink in the Cornfieldshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06898255649481697297noreply@blogger.com
