Because, I sure don't and I don't even have children. My mom and dad go out to eat a LOT more now that we aren't home, but I cannot believe she had dinner for us every night. I am also so thankful that my husband will come home every night and make dinner. Even though I am home first. I, however, stand and talk most of the day and he, sits at a computer. I think that is the difference. I'm exhausted and he just wants to move around. Thankfully, it works for us.. Though, sometimes I am on the ball about meals, I just have to PREPLAN. And I don't like to do that. Only for work. :PThe Many Thoughts of a Readerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12261949837343560602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1131924142966006519.post-86192593510313812002009-12-08T10:02:04.429-06:002009-12-08T10:02:04.429-06:00I joined a writing group a few years ago, and they...I joined a writing group a few years ago, and they are great if you are trying to write better. You can either take in chapters or short stories and then everyone gives you feedback and suggestions.

True story, last night I was in line behind a man who said he had kids and he was buying 15 packages of assorted mini muffins, brownie bites, etc.; a bunch of soda; 3 cartons of donuts; 20 lunchables- but only the nachos and cheese kind; a bunch of frozen meals (but not even the nutritionally balanced ones with vegetables, like the appetizer ones); chips and salsa.

That's it.

I wanted to vomit just looking at it. I can't imagine a kid growing up in that house. It seriously makes my mouth water- but I don't want to work in a mega beaurocracy where there are almost no jobs, so I just read up on it on my own.

Either that or more realistically I would take a course on grammar. I'm terrible with knowing how to use commas and hypens, and I use them all the time. Since then though I've found I love writing too, so I've been drooling slightly over the local college's evening classes in creative writing etc. I started a book YEARS ago, but I'm hoping 2010 will be the year I finally get back to it. There's another new year's resolution to add to the list!

I think I'd be with you on the tummy thing - either that, or a nose job :)Emily Janehttp://fuchsiag.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
