I was diagnosed with breast cancer in my 3rd trimester of my pregnancy with my daughter so i know how rotten this feels. I had surgery while pregnant but I was lucky enough that I could wait for chemo until after she was born. I was also induced at 39 weeks and while my labor was long, everything went fine. Me and my daughter (20 months old now) are doing well. Sending you prayers and good vibes. aphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04285570770301079329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1131924142966006519.post-25705187368612523022018-01-30T07:48:35.868-06:002018-01-30T07:48:35.868-06:00God, Lisa, you just can't catch a break with t...God, Lisa, you just can't catch a break with this pregnancy. I think you have had to endure so much more than what most people go through, and it's perfectly fine to really want this pregnancy to be OVER. I will pray that the next few weeks pass without any more drama. You deserve that, at least. <3 Stephanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01664500645286563334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1131924142966006519.post-26904940980344551792018-01-29T13:34:05.670-06:002018-01-29T13:34:05.670-06:00Blood clots can also get into the the umbilical co...Blood clots can also get into the the umbilical cord and cause late term miscarriages. Kelley has a condition called Prothrombin Gene Mutation, and that's how doctors found the mutation - it's a genetic predisposition for blood clots that was discovered by genetic analysis after miscarriage. It means she can't take birth control pills (but other methods are fine), and had to take 2 shots a day from the onset of pregnancy until 6 weeks after giving birth, likely the same blood thinners you are on. Might not hurt to ask the OB if they can test for prothrombin gene mutation.Carolina Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14834384961037080805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1131924142966006519.post-44021692429674618752018-01-29T10:19:59.653-06:002018-01-29T10:19:59.653-06:00Sending you all the love, as you know. We have been praying for you and it won't stop! I so wish we lived closer so I could bring you some meals etc! When one has a blood clot, it is hard not to think of things that could happen, so I am so grateful you got to the bottom of it, and also thankful that the massaging didn't dislodge the clot in anyway! That gave me the hibbie-jibbies! I will be happy to see the calendar turn to February - and we can count down the days until your pregnancy is behind you and that baby is in your arms! I am thankful that you are home again but I know that this was all emotionally a lot as the whole situation was absolutely terrifying. You have been an absolute trooper! I hope this (new) pain abates quickly and I am just relieved that you were able to get medical help. A clot in that area is exceedingly rare, almost unheard of, and with your other health conditions, would definitely not be the first thing on anyone's mind - thank goodness for the ultrasound. Keep your chin up. You've dealt with just about everything this pregnancy, and you are so close to the end! Talk about scary! That is as frightening as anything can be. I'm so grateful you were on top of this and that you didn't stop till you found out what was wrong.

This has been a tough pregnancy. I know you don't feel thrilled about inducing but I think the sooner your little one is out, the better. That may help with so many things -- the GD, maybe even the RA and certainly your feelings about the medications. It will be fine in the end. You have a wonderful team and a great partner and all shall be well.
