Giveaway Time!

Greetings - it's almost Friday! Yippee!
The lovely team at CSN has offered to do another giveaway post. By now I assume most of you are familiar with CSN. They have anything from modern dining room furniture to cookware to bedding. They have 200+ websites, so the options are endless.

One lucky winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to use on one of their sites!

If I had $50 to spend, I'd maybe use it towards...

or a Wusthof paring knife...

or perhaps I would use it towards this mandolin. I have wanted one for a while but now I REALLY want one after reading Kelly's post about Parsnip fries last week! Yum!

To enter the giveaway, please comment by 10 pm CST on Wednesday, January 26th and let me know what you'd purchase! I'll announce the winner next Thursday!

  1. Eeep #1 commenter! That's bad luck isn't it? Ahhh well! ;)

I like the idea of a mandolin after seeing Kelly's fries too! That or a blender. I really really really need a new blender!

  4. I would love a new and high quality wok. The one we have, it chips really easily and doesn't work that well!

  5. As boring as it sounds, I'd probably buy some sheets for my bed! I could use some new ones and that would be super awesome. Or maybe some throw pillows for Knight's couches. Either way :)

  8. I would definitely get some sheets. I bought much needed new ones with a Christmas gift certificate and they shrunk after the first wash (i.e. before we even used them!). Ridiculous!

I would definitely put the money towards a new dresser. I need one so badly!

  10. If the gift certificate were 10x that amount, I'd put it towards one of the rocking chairs I'm coveting. But, at $50, I'd probably buy a gift for Sweets for being the best father and husband a girl could ever ask for. (Sappy? Yep!)

  16. Anything to hid the spot that will be left empty when I take my Christmas tree down...yeah, that's embarassing...but it's still green as can be!!! Would it be weird to permanently have a real live Christmas tree in my living room?

  17. Yay I'm glad my fries inspired your purchase idea :) Though I have to say you may need Eric to come visit you to actually cut the parsnips, he was putting some serious effort into those. I am going to try it myself with sweet potatoes and see if it goes better.

Anyway, I think I would maybe get some new bed sheets- we only have one set right now and it's not as motivating to actually wash them :)

  19. Despite the fact that I'd probably slice my hand, I'd go for the mandolin! I think it's the only cooking thing I don't have (unless you count my broken food processor -- and that's my problem, not getting thigns fixed!

  20. I would put the gift certificate towards a santoku knife, though I'm not certain of which one yet. A santoku knife has been on my wishlist for a while now!
