Happy Monday! I had another wonderful weekend. I packed a lot in this weekend, but had a wonderful time. I experimented with a veggie burger recipe, ran 8 miles with my run club, entertained family, skyped with
Kyla, attended a bbq at my building (a friend has friends that live here!), went to a musical that my aunt was the choral director for, had wine after with my aunt and uncle, and g-chatted with
Amber. Phew!
The highlight of my weekend was definitely entertaining my family. We had a wonderful time and they got to see why I am so head-over-heels in love with my life now that I have moved.

The boys, walking through the Farmer's Market, hand in hand. I love photos of the backs of people!! |

Could they be any cuter?? |
My older nephew Andrew said, "When can we come back? How about next Saturday?" So clearly, the kids were won over by my new place, too (the outdoor pool probably helped!). I am hoping they are frequent visitors!
So life continues to be blissfully good. Feels really good to say that I would not change a thing about my life right now.
What was the highlight of your weekend?
It sounds like your weekend was jam-packed with awesome! I'm glad your nephews were won over by your new place. That picture of them in the market is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThe highlight of my weekend was probably catching up with a good friend on the phone. He lives in California, and we hadn't had a chance to talk since February.
Sounds like a lovely weekend! :) The highlight of mine was probably a "Cake and Shake" party - kind of a pot luck but with just cake and milkshakes, guitars and jamming together. Tonnes of fun!

ReplyDeleteI think the highlight of my weekend was Saturday: Winnie the Pooh (SO GOOD), library, a nap while the kidlets napped and Church with the girls where they both listened to the sermon and I'm pleased to say it was *just* what we and D needed to hear that day too, rounded out with some Chianti and mindless Wii games full of laughter since I had *no* idea what I was doing...
I had such a wonderful weekend, I have a few highlights. One is my anniversary dinner with my hubby, and another is the picnic in the park that we had with our nephew :-)
