Happy Friday, everyone! Can you believe it's the last Friday before Christmas? I personally can't... I think back on my childhood years when Christmas would take FOREVER AND A DAY to arrive. Now it comes entirely too fast!!
For those of you who celebrate Christmas, I hope that you have a wonderful holiday that can be described as calm and bright... well, unless you have small children, then it will be chaotic and bright like mine will be with my nephews around!!
I'll leave you with my holiday card this year. And yes, I am probably the ONLY unmarried person that sends a photo card! But they are easier and I feel like they are more apt to be hung up than a hand written card. So a photo card it is for this unmarried gal!
Over the course of the next few days, I am looking forward to a Christmas celebration with my boyfriend, Christmas at the lake with my family, and a visit with my dear aunt that I don't get to see very often! I'll be back after the holiday with some end of the year posts!
Have a safe and Happy Christmas!
Do you/did you send holiday cards?
Merry Christmas, Lisa! Hope you have a great holiday and enjoy time with friends and family : )
ReplyDeleteWe are SUCH brain twins because I posted a picture from our holiday card today too! We got yours yesterday and loved it - those are such great pictures of you! Aaaand I was thinking how I love that you send a photo card of yourself each year!
ReplyDeleteMerry Merry Christmas my friend!
Christmas does come entirely too quickly these days. Maybe it's because I'm getting older and I'd like it to not come so quickly ;) Have a very happy Christmas and wonderful new year!
ReplyDeleteFor the record, we hang ALL holiday cards in our house. We might need to get a little closer to be reminded who sent them to us, but non-photo cards are adored just as much as photo cards. =)
ReplyDeleteAs you know, we sent cards this year. I NEVER sent photo cards when I was single or even married, but now that we have Gavin, it's a (mostly) fun project (when things go smoothly) that I look forward to doing annually!
Merry Christmas, friend!
Merry Christmas Lisa! I did send Christmas cards - got them out yesterday. A little later than I usually do it but things have been busy! Hope you have a great holiday with your family!
ReplyDeleteI love photo cards and my wall is full of them! I even keep them in an album and they are fun to look back on and see how families have grown & multiplied over the years!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you, photo cards are probably more likely to go on the wall. I also cannot seem to make myself throw them away, so I have photo cards from several years on my fridge... lol
ReplyDeleteI did send out cards this year but they went out yesterday, so I am sure some people will get them after Christmas. Oh well, I am proud of myself for even getting them done this year!
I love your card. And, I love you! Enjoy your Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYour card is super cute. I usually send cards, but not this year. I always love getting the photo cards from others. Looking forward to getting our wedding photos and having some professional shots of us to put up on the walls or maybe use for a Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteI love hanging cards (both photo & non-photo, I guess cause for a long time no one sent photo cards but i liked to look at the designs!) and we have 1.5 doors covered with them so far. Makes me so smiley to look at our friends/family and their notes (or photos to us daily).
ReplyDeleteI think next year I might do a hand written card with a cool design on it with photos inside. We'll see if that actually happens :)
Have so much fun tomorrow!!!
merry Christmas Lisa! Great card. You've had a wonderful year.
ReplyDeleteYou know what? I think it's awesome when unmarried people or nontraditional families send out photo Christmas cards, too. I can't believe we're already so close to Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love your photo card (and long before Rick came about, I did the photo letter, so you're not quite the only. Maybe close!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful and blessed Christmas, spending it with those you love and who love you, those who give you joy and those who make you smile. You deserve no less and much more!
Love the card! I hope you have a fabulous Christmas Lisa :)
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I like sending handwritten cards but they are a lot of work! I hope you have a fabulous Christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteI posted our "holiday card" yesterday. And by that I mean I posted our Thank You card that we've been sending out for wedding gifts. I figured it didn't really make sense to mail out a card (esp since it would prob have a wedding picture on it), at the same time I was sending thank yous.
ReplyDeleteI definitely love the photo cards and especially love that you do them :) Yours is up on my door right now!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful Christmas!!!
Hello Lisa! I am doing a bloggy catch up - work has gotten in the way of everything these past weeks. I love your card, and the photos you've chosen represent you so well.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the festive season my lovely!
Love your card this year!!! Hope you're having a great time with family!
ReplyDeleteYep, I've sent Christmas cards every year since I was 21. I get fewer and fewer every year though, so I think the tradition is dying out.
ReplyDeleteI love your card! As you know, I send one out, and I enjoy all the fun ones I get back, especially hand made ones or photo cards!
