Today I am thankful for the healthy kids in my life.
The health of my nephews and niece is definitely something that I try not to take for granted. They all had issue-free births and have led healthy lives so far - I pray this continues for their entire lives! I will be an aunt again early in 2014 as my older sister is expecting and I hope and pray that the newest addition is healthy and makes his/her arrival into this world with no issues!
The saddest thing is a sick kid. Health is such a wonderful gift.
ReplyDeleteI love how you decided to focus on healthy kids for this post, rather than just that you have such lovely kids in your life :) I think it's something that may of us take for granted in our own lives and the lives of our kids. Of course kids are absolutely wonderful in themselves, but it is such a luxury for them to be healthy and to not even experience life with an illness (other than maybe a cold/stomach flu etc). I'm glad all your favorite kids are very healthy and have had issue free births!
ReplyDeleteNiece and nephews are the best part of being an aunt! You are so lucky to have so many of them in your life :)
ReplyDeleteGreat thing to be grateful for!! I am grateful for this as well!
ReplyDeleteWe are very blessed to have had all healthy nieces and nephews!! So blessed! They bring such fun and excitement to the family! Miss them dearly....
ReplyDeleteA family friend of Ryan's (they were actually at our graduation party) lost their 6 month old Grandson this past week to SIDS...just heartbreaking. When I hear news like that it really makes you remember the important things in life and count your blessings!
Such an important thing to be thankful for! I think we tend to forget how lucky/blessed we are to have healthy nephews/nieces. I am very grateful that my nephew is a thriving, smart, healthy little guy.
ReplyDeleteNew baby next year! That is so exciting. I honestly think my brother and SIL are done with my nephew, which makes me sad. I want another little one to snuggle with! Ah, well. :)
Done, as in "done having kids." Ha - didn't mean to imply they are "over" him. ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures! I'm kind of hoping that your big sis has a girl so that your niece won't be so outnumbered!
ReplyDeleteYay! Me too!! I'm thankful for the health of my nephew and others that I love.
ReplyDeleteFortunate indeed. Good health is such an amazing and wonderful thing that we often don't fully appreciate until we no longer have it.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! I love that they each seem to have such different personalities...in the first photo, the little boy, is it Charlie (?), is trying to get away... So cute! And the Mexican restaurant...is that after the CFA?
