Success Part Deux

Guess who passed another licensing exam yesterday?

Woo hoo, it was me.  Or I should say, "Woo hip" which is my new phase as that is what my iPhone auto-corrects "woo hoo" to, so I just go with it.

So woo hip.  Stick a fork in me, I am done.

Can I just say I am SO freaking sick of studying and answering multiple questions about finance concepts and regulation.

The awesome thing is that on Wednesday night, I had a vivid dream that I passed the CFA!  I hope that was prophetic.  Still waiting on those results.  I don't want to wish the summer away, but I sure am anxious for the end of July/early August to roll around so I can know if I passed or not...

That's all from my neck of the woods.  I am basking in the fact that I DONE with finance exams.  And to celebrate, I am heading to the cabin this morning where I will rendezvous with my parents and 3 of my 4 siblings, and 4 of my 5 nephews!  Eeks, can't wait!

What are you up to this weekend?  Have you had to take any exams for your job?

  2. Hahaha, Woo hip! I'm going to start texting you that from now on!

Seriously though, you're such a trooper! Congrats on having passed another exam - I have no doubt you'll have passed the CFA as well!

  3. Wahoooooo! I'm very happy for you and can only imagine how sick of all that you are :) In MA you have to take several tests to become a teacher. The tests are tough (some more than others) but the real problem is without fail they make you take them early Sat morning in a run down high school in a very sketchy town that is NO WHERE near where you actually live. No matter whether I say I live in Boston, west of Boston, north of Boston etc- it's always a sketchy town and NEVER close haha. Hoops, hoops, hoops. I took my last one about 2 years ago now when I got my masters. I'm HOPING I never have to take another one, but who really knows? If I ever decide to change my certification at all, I'll probably have to. Wah, just think about it makes me unhappy.

So anyway, this weekend I'm at the Cape :) Hope you have fun with your family!

(Oh, and I've had to take a few exams for some of the Microsoft stuff we work with/sell, but nothing like what you go through AT ALL.)

  17. Taking the bar exams must have been one of the most brutal few weeks of my life... the studying, the exam taking (and partly failing)... It's good to know you're DONE with exams :)

Once again - CONGRATS!!! So proud of you :)

  18. Yay for moving. It will be great that you have the movers lined up as that def will help take a load off of your feet hopefully
The recipe for the avacado pasta salad looks really good. Will def have to make that some night. With it being so hot out I am always looking for easy meals that do not require having to turn the oven on.
Are you still choosing to eat everything dairy free for your skin or are you still giving yourself a break here and there?
