Looking Forward

After being really sick for the past week or so, I need some positive momentum to propel me forward!  I have some really fun things to look forward to, so figured it was time for a "looking forward" post!

Today I am looking forward to running with my running group for the first time in over 2 weeks!  Between my travel schedule and being sick, I haven't been able to make it to any work outs.  I really miss my fellow run club members!  We are doing yassos tonight.  I am not sure if I will be able to do the full workout, but I plan to listen to my body and do as much as my body allows.

This week I am looking forward to seeing my Chicago brother and his family.  I get to help my niece celebrate her first birthday!  I will be sure to take photos and share those with you when I get back from my work trip to Chicago late next week!

This month (meaning in the next 30 days) I am looking forward to attending Nora's wedding.  Besides participating in the wedding festivities, I'll get to spend quality time with Becky, Mandy, and Nilsa!  I can't wait for our little blogger reunion!

This year I am looking forward to co-hosting our 4th Annual Julia Child Night!  My aunt and I have already done a trial run of the main course and the salad course, and have plans to get together later this month to practice the soup and an amouse bouche course (yes, we are fancy like that!).  I love sharing my love of all things French with family and friends!

What are some things you are looking forward to today, this week, this month, and this year?

I need to do one of these soon, but first I need to plan some things to look forward to!

I'm so glad you are feeling better and even joining your run club tonight. :) Can't wait to see the first birthday pictures!

How is your niece one already?!!!

Can't wait for St. Louis and to see you too! (It seems like it's been so long since our Chicago trip!)

*Today I'm looking forward to a new yoga class I've never been to - it's called Renew & Restore so I think it'll be pretty relaxing.

*This week I'm looking forward to seeing Megan (weekend) and then turning 29 on Monday!

*This month I'm excited for all the fall things I have planned - including a trip where I see you, watch Nora get married, AND celebrate 5 years of marriage!

*This year I'm looking forward to fall and winter - I love these seasons!

I'm glad you're on the mend! Yay! Hopefully run group goes well and you can get those endorphins flowing again. That always feels great!!

Right now, I'm mainly looking forward to moving. It's going to be a long process but I love moving and settling into a new place and organizing things in a different way. :) And also planning a fun weekend in Orlando for my birthday at the end of November!

What a great list. Is it sad that what I'm looking forward to are the season premiers of Glee and Revenge.

This week I'm looking forward to having a relaxing weekend with almost no plans (other than going to yoga both days and running Sunday morning)

This month I'm looking forward to our campaign kick-off breakfast next Friday! SO excited about this!!

This year I am looking forward to my first United Way campaign this fall, spending our first Christmas in our OWN home as a married couple, and possibly a trip somewhere hot in February!

I'm so jealous of your Julia Child night! That's such a great idea, and so fun that you've been able to keep that tradition up year after year.

I love these positive posts and it's great that you have so much to look forward to, Lisa! I'm really glad to hear that you are feeling well enough to run with your club this evening (you probably already have as I'm typing this).

This week I'm looking forward to having our realtor and his family (his wife is a colleague of mine at the university) over for brunch.

I hope your run went well. Not being able to run is a bummer and now that you can run again, things will get better fast! I know a good run always puts me in a better frame of mind. Have fun with your brother and cuddle that little girl as much as you can!

I am looking forward to seeing you again, more Sex and the City watching and then having all of our friends around!!! I am giddy at just the thought of it. Seriously cannot wait.

This week: I'm excited as tomorrow night I'm taking a break from wedding everything and going to "Balloon Glow," which is a big hot air balloon festival complete wtih music, food, and when the sun sets, all the balloons "glow," at certain times throughout the night. It's really beautiful!

This year: I'm excited to celebrate the holidays in my new home, hopefully make it to CA to see my cousin get married around Christmas and then get back to what I love most: reading, baking, and working out!
