10 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 2

Today I am thankful that I passed level 3 of the CFA and can put that exam behind me for good!

2013 has been a really rough year for me, but one HUGE bright spot was finding out I passed level 3 of the CFA.  I worked so so so hard for that designation and am so relieved that all of my hard work paid off.

It will hasn't quite hit me that the exam is actually over with.  I think it will hit me in late December when I don't have to study.  Or it will hit me at Easter when I don't have to juggle seeing family with fitting in my study hours.  Or it will hit me Memorial Day weekend when I can actually relax and enjoy the long weekend instead of taking 3 days of full-length practice tests.  Or maybe it will hit me on the first weekend of June when I don't have to go to the test center.

Whenever and however it will happen, eventually it will sink in that I can firmly close the book on that chapter of my life.  Here's hoping that having those 3 letters behind my name will pay off when it comes time to job search.

YAY!!! SO proud of you!!! This is HUGE, and I agree, I don't think it's totally hit you quite yet - and it'll just be better and better every time it does!

Today I am thankful for…compassion. It was kind of a long weekend and compassion shown to me by others and that I've granted for myself has been much appreciated.

Happy Monday!

Wooooooo!

I am really glad you passed. You obviously worked you backside off. You deserve a study free Christmas. Just imagine being at the Lake House and reading ONLY FOR PLEASURE.

I am so very, very glad that this heavy weight is off your shoulders. I suspect that in some ways, passing the exam and not quite having it hit you is not unlike my retirement -- all of a sudden something huge isn't there. And it's a wonderful feeling! Three cheers!

How nice it must feel to have that out of the way, off your shoulders and done!! Yay!!! It does take a while for these things to hit ... but you're going to really enjoy all the things you don't have to give up to study.

It's such a big thing it might not ever REALLY truly hit you but either way you worked your but off for it and I'm so happy you have it behind you now. Also so glad you have your big celebration trip to Paris next week! After watching how hard you worked for this over the past three years you definitely deserve that trip and more!

This is such a huge accomplishment and I know it'll probably take a while for it all to sink in that you did it, you passed, and it's behind you. You worked harder than anyone I've "seen" work for this test and if anyone deserved to pass, it is you!

So proud of you!

Thank goodness that's over with! It seems like half of the time that I have known you, you have been studying for that exam! You are going to have so much free time on your hands now... what are you going to do with it all!? I am so proud of you for doing so well with the CFA!

Woot woot! I am feeling the relief of finishing up all my graduate homework for the semester and taking at least one semester off before I take another class! So glad that my state changed the certification standards so I'm not forced into getting a masters that currently won't help me in my current job and economy!

Ugh, yes. This must be such a relief as you spent SO many hours studying over the past year or so. And you can just enjoy the holidays and such. :)
