Today I am thankful for sites like Groupon and Living Social as they give me access to fitness studios at a very affordable price.
I know this is a random thing to be thankful for, but I really do appreciate the deals on sites like groupon and living social. Right now I am enjoying a month of unlimited yoga at my favorite studio, Core Power Yoga. I love this studio and the classes they offer so much but I do not love the price tag associated with being a member! Thanks to groupon, I was able to snag an affordable 30-day membership and have been trying to get my bootie there as much as possible. In January, I am planning to activate a living social deal for 10 fitness classes at another studio that is close to my house.
I love switching things up and trying new workouts so am thankful that I'm able to snag these deals when they come along. I have too many interests to commit to a membership at one studio so this is a great way for me to do some new things during the running off-season.
What are you thankful for today?

Funny you mentioned that, as I just bought a Groupon for a bikram class! It's so much cheaper plus it gives me a chance to try out different places without the hefty price tag! I also just bought a haircut for a very reasonable price, since I haven't really found a hairdresser that I love yet, so we shall see how that goes! The other one I sometimes find good deals on is Zulily, although it tends to focus more on people with kids. However, you never know; I found a great deal on an Erin Chondrin planner there a few years ago!
It is great that you have access to so many exercise classes! Groupon sounds like an amazing thing! I wonder if it would work in rural ND? May have to research that idea?
I will have to check out the groupons and see the options that are available to me in my area! I still haven't done a real/official yoga class yet- must do that at some point. It's so nice to be able to score deals like this.
Today I'm thankful for good neighbors; such a joy to have friends in our neighborhood. We take turns watching each other's houses, we hang out, and my favorite is the impromptu sidewalk and driveway chats.
I stopped with Groupon after buying and forgetting to use!
I'm thankful today for a lazy day where I can start to pull the house together for the holidays!
I love Groupon and Living Social! I also love Zulily! I'm always looking for good deals and I'm with you, it's a great way to try out new places!
I need to check out Groupon more often than I do. I always get overwhelmed by their emails so stop subscribing before wanting to try them again. Ha!
I'm thankful for a healthy and happy pup! :)
I've used Groupon to do some cool fitness classes over the years too :) I hate that my yoga place only lets new people use groupons though, ha ha
I used to do a lot of grouponing and livingsocial :) Then I noticed I kept forgetting them and ended up losing out on the discount. That I can sleep in tomorrow! Been cramming in my schedule trying to make a living with small gigs. One more thing tonight after my part time thing and an thing between those two and then omg SLEEP.
I really wish we had more opportunities for deals like that here! I've also loved having my intro barre membership this past month but after my month is up I will likely just do drop-ins as it's too hard for me to commit to going regularly when I have so many other fitness things I want to pursue as well!
I've never used any of those sites, but I've heard really good things about the deals you can get.
Funny you are mentioning this - I just purchased a Groupon for a local yoga studio...and am loving it!! I definitely would like to keep up doing yoga at least once weekly. It leaves me feeling so restored - and forces me to stretch out (which I am so bad about doing!)
I love these sites too! I wish my local places ran deals on those sites but haven't been able to find any near where I could use yet! I do enjoy using stuff on them for traveling or meals out! I am contemplating joining the Y in the town I work now because I could get there over my lunch hour.
