I am the proud aunt of 4 adorable nephews. They are truly the loves of my life! I love spending time with them and hearing them say "I love you" melts my heart. It's been so fun to watch them grow and change and develop their own little personalities. Here are some pictures of them:
James - he's 5 & LOVES Spiderman! Like he wants to BE spiderman and often brings the costume with him when they go places on the weekend!
Andrew - he's 4, this is a photo I took this fall when I took him on a 'date' to a bookstore & an ice cream shop!
This is Kolin, he'll be 3 in January. I had a blast hanging out with him when I went to Chicago in September - he has the most beautiful brown eyes!
This is Matthew, aka Matty. He's 18 months and has taken on the role of entertainer! I think he's going to be the clown of the bunch!
I've always been so thankful for these 4. I know that a healthy child is truly a miracle and a gift from God. This was driven home this summer when I attended funerals for 2 babies - the daughter of a good friend & the niece of another good friend. It was so hard to watch these girls and their families go through such a difficult thing. My heart just hurts for them and I sincerely hope that I never have to watch another friend lose a child.
Watching them lose their precious little babies made me even more thankful for my healthy nephews.

Its such a wonderful opportunity to see kids grow up and change. I really enjoy hanging out with my younger cousins and seeing them grow, change and form their own opinions on things. Your nephews are adorable!
I always donate to St. Jude Medical Research Center in honor of the healthy kids in my life.
Two babies funerals this year? That doesn't seem fair at all, healthy children are definitely a blessing- I'm glad you have such beautiful boys in your life =)
Great pictures, Lisa. And, very true, those 4 boys are blessings.
I've never had to go to a funeral for a child... Truth be told I've never gone to a funeral. That sounds like such a hard thing to go through.
It must be goosebump day because I just read Mandy's post and got goosebumps. And now this one. More goosebumps. I can't imagine having to bury a child. Just can't even fathom it.
I'm so glad you have such adorable nephews in your life and kids to spend time with! Kids are just the best medicine, I swear.
I completely agree with you. Everytime I go home I LOVE spending time with Eric's nephew and niece and my baby cousin.
Your nephews are all ADORABLE. They could ALL be brothers, and how cool they are so close in age. Eric has two cousins that are very close in age to him and they are all REALLY close now after growing up together.
Your nephews are gorgeous and you are definitely blessed. My heart goes out to your friends and to anyone else who's lost a child. I can't imagine anything worse.
I'm grateful for you and for this blogging community which supports me when I am blue and self-pitying. Thank you!
Your nephews are blessings! They are so cute and funny.
Today I am thankful for being born in the U.S. We have so much; money, food, material goods, safety, freedom. Sometimes I take it all for granted.
Adorable! Thanks for sharing pics :)
Oh Lisa, you have hit home with me today on your blog of thankfulness! After a 3 hours car ride home from Phoenix in absolute TEARS after seeing some of the saddest living situations, etc.
Our nephews are soo soo lucky for their health, and their safe/warm homes.
They are amazing.
I was going to add something about the boys in my comment but decided I best not as it would take pages and pages of bragging tales! They are as adorable and more than these pictures show, and bright, sweet, funny, active, precious gems! Can you tell I'm their Grandma?
