Or at least that is what I assume since I haven't have any kids of my own and all...
I am nervous for the race, but I am ready. I trained hard and I trained smart for this race. I know my body is ready to get me through 26.2 miles - even if there is an 80% chance of rain!
I'm off to take some melatonin (which has been a God send, by the way), and then it's off to bed. Good night, dear readers. I'll see you on the other side of 26.2.
PS - if you want to read about my amazing vacation, Amber's been recapping it over on her blog!

You are going to do incredible, my dear!!! :) Run well and hard...but most importantly.........
Enjoy yourself tomorrow! This is an experience you will look back upon for YEARS and remember.
Good luck, Lisa!! After all your hard work, I know you are going to do awesome!!
Sounds like you are having an awesome time. What a trip!!!
I'm tracking you right now - you're halfway done! So proud of you babe!
Good luck!! I'll be thinking of you! :)
Followed you through the course. How fun!! We are anxious to read the recap!
GOOD JOB!!!!
GO LISA! Great performance! :)
How exciting!! I can't wait to hear how it went!
PS - Off topic, but that's great that melatonin is helping. It must feel good to get your sleep back on track!
It's so funny you compare running a marathon to giving birth. Throughout our childbirth class, I kept relating things to training for and running a marathon. When my instructor learned I've completed quite a few, she said I'll have no problem with giving birth. (ha, yeah right, but it's nice to know there is overlap with something I've actually done before!)
We were eating dinner at our house yesterday as we followed you final moments so we all cheered when we found out your results and knew you had reached your goal! Kevin, Julie, Emily, Jason, Grandma, James, Andrew, James and Dad & I were all cheering you on! BRAVO!!! I know you are really sore today but hope all is better tomorrow!
I am catching up on posts, so I don't know how you did yet ... but I am sure you did great!!!!!
