You might not know this...

I did a similiar post a few weeks back so thought I'd do round 2 today.

1. I'm really anal about schedules. Like right now, I am stalking my grad school Blackboard system, waiting for my Derivatives teacher to post the syllabus so I know wha tot expect for the coming semester...

2. I am super competitive. Apparently this is a dominant McDougall gene which has bene passed down from generation to generation. Worst example: My first piano teacher was a complete tool who taught by 'numbers'. After a few years, I switched teachers & went to a woman who taught my best friend. I had to start over from square one and HATED being behind Alysia. So I would go through and 'star' songs that I hadn't done. My teacher would come upon a 'starred' song & say - "Hmm, I don't remember you doing this one" and I'd say something like, 'yah, remember, I had trouble w/ that arpeggio' or something like that. Years later, I 'fessed up and my teacher said she knew all along, but was ok w/ me 'cheating' my way through the early books since she knew I was ready to progress to the next level. I did eventually catch up to my best friend.

3. I hated the color pink until I got to college. Then I had so many pink tops, I did an entire load of pink when I did laundry. Pink is still my favorite color but I have very few pink tops in my wardrobe.

4. I've never seen Star Wars and I don't know that I ever will. Go ahead, call me un-American. It's not my cup of tea.

5. I used to be able to fit my whole fist in my mouth. I have not tried for years because I now realize how gross that is. But it probably still fits.

6. I am the only child in my family that does not like milk. I could go without it completely but know I need the calcium. I never drink it - I only put it on my cereal. I struggle to finish a 1/2 gallon before the expiration date.

7. I spent a summer and 2 winter breaks in Steamboat Springs, CO and fell head over heels in love. With the town, that is! I dream of someday owning a vacation home out there. It is my little slice of heaven.

Happy Friday!
